Södragården can be reached within two hours by car from Kastrup Int. Airport in Copenhagen. The nearest train station on the Öresundståg train line coming from Denmark is in Älmhult (yes, the home of IKEA). The journey from Älmhult to Skärvö takes 40 minutes by car. However, there are hardly any bus connections here, so you will need a car for your stay in Skärvö. This also as the nearest supermarket is a 20-minute drive away in Ljungby.

If you are travelling by car, there are also various ferries connecting Germany with southern Sweden (Trelleborg, Ystad) as well as the Kiel-Gothenburg line and a ferry connecting Grenaa with Halmstad.
